Dog Fever Symptoms:

- Changing in behavior

The normal temperature in dogs is 100.5F to 102.5F

There is no good way, unless they are running a VERY high fever, your best bet is to feel their ears.

Touching your dogs nose or the fur is not a good way to tell. If you really want to now, take your dogs temperature rectally.

A normal dog temperature is 100.0-102.0. Dogs are naturally warmer than me and you, dogs usually feel like they are running a fever, but are normal.

Your best way to find out if your dog has in fever symptoms is to use a thermometer and put it in the rectally area. This way your have the most accurate answer.

If you Dog fever symptoms is less then 104.5F then monitoring you dog at home, making sure it continues to eat and drink. You should monitor your dogs temperature one or two times a day if the temperature goes above the 104.5F you should contact your veterinarian asap

You should also look for fever symptoms in the infections such as blood in urine or skin lumps, even having problems urinating, sneezing or breathing, appetite not being where is should be. This should prompt you to get your dog to a veterinarian.
