Dog Symptoms Dry Nose

If you are seeing symptoms of a dry nose it doesnt mean that your dog is sick. Your dogs nose could just be dried out in the sunlight.

If your dogs nose continues to stay dry for a long period of time you should call your vet. Other symptoms you should watch for when you dogs nose is dry is the texture, if your dogs nose becomes flaky or crusty , also watch for the color if it loses color and covered in sores you should call or get them checked out with you veterinarian as soon as possible.



You should also look at other symptoms that also related to dry nose which can be part of the symptoms. Dry nose is not something you need to be worries about unless its still dry for a long period or starts showing more symptoms above.

Always remember if you thing something is wrong it never hurts to call your vet or get them checked out.

Symptoms you have to observe with your dog is he/she trying to scratch or paw its nose, do you see any flaking or cracking. You might even see pink spots which could be skin cancer.

If you are taking your dog to the vet make sure you write down the symptoms you are seeing in your dogs behavior as it will assist the doctor in finding out the issue.
