Symptoms Of Dog In Heat

Dogs in heat will go through cycles, some dogs depending on the breen will have these cycles six to nine monthes and up to two to three times a year.

Dogs can have there first cycle six months , it can be earlier or later but six month is the average for a female dog.

When you see your dog going into heat as her first cycle you should be ok but if she hasnt after 14months i would call your vet and ask what they think give your veterinarian a call.



When your dog is in heat it can last two to 4 weeks depending on the tpye of breed you have.

Dogs usually only can get pregrant when in heat same as humans when ere usually fertile.

Always remember if you dont want you female dog to have puppies make sure you have her spayed depending on the doctor you can have them spryed as early as 6 weeks old.
